About Thuthi (Indian Mallow)
Thuthi herb, known as Indian Mallow, is a perennial shrub, softly tomentose, and up to 3 m in height. It grows in the hot temperate regions of India and is found in India, Sri Lanka, tropical regions of America, and Malaysia. The leaves are toothed, and the plant bears solitary yellow flowers that bloom in the evening. The seeds are dark brown or black. Traditionally, this plant has been used for medicinal purposes.
