Salamisiri, known as Salep Orchid, is a perennial herb that grows up to 60-70 cm in height. It features palmately lobed, fleshy, tuberous divided root tubers. The leaves are erect, oblong, broadly lanceolate, and arranged more or less along the stem. The flowers are dull purple and appear in spikes.
