About Manjanathi / Nuna:
Manjanathi, also known as Nuna, is an evergreen shrub or small tree that grows to a height of 5 to 10 meters. The stem is short and crooked, with rough bark featuring deep longitudinal cuts. The leaves are 15 to 25 cm long and oppositely arranged. The flowers are tubular, white, and scented, measuring about 2 cm long. The fruit is a green syncarp, 2-2.5 cm in diameter, which turns black when ripe. The tree is commonly found in various places and often grows spontaneously. It contains minerals such as selenium and zinc.
